Caught MDC Services beautiful W900 fueling up in Red Hook early in the morning sun. It made for a perfect photo sitting in the bay getting filled. I love their trucks because they are simple yet eye catching at the same time. Their rigs are garage kept, and it definitely shows!

I guess you can say the term "You can't kill a Mack" is true. Even though this RD may not be that old, 10+ years maybe, it sure outlasts most other trucks, and being owned by the DOT, it for sure takes more abuse than other companies trucks. The other week when it was snowing, me and my brother walked around my block just to take some photos of the snow we seen this heavy spec'd NYCDOT Mack RD plowing. I was surprised to see them using the RD since they usually just run the garbage trucks or the orange MR salt spreaders.
On our way home from watching the LR11000 do a lift, we seen a bunch of the Long Island largecars coming back from Atlantic Salt. Seen the usual trucks but everytime I see this one, it always stands out to me. No crazy graphics or crazy paint, just a nice and clean truck. I think we all had enough of this winter already right? If you live in the North East, you definitely have had the unbearable temperatures and the massive amount of snowfall. With winter almost over, I can not wait for it to be shorts weather again.. Throwing this post back to November, when I took this shot, on the SIE of Scaramella's clean Granite doing asphalt work.
